Job summary

Memphis Zoo, Inc. is seeking a Zip Line Rides Operator to help manage daily ride operations and assist guests with questions. You will inspect equipment, present safety briefings, and ensure all restraints are secured before dispatch.

This role is outdoors in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with attention to safety and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic safety knowledge, and strong communication skills to work evenings, weekends and holidays as

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• General knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate rides and attractions according to safety protocols.
• Monitor and inspect rides and attractions for safety.
• Load and unload passengers in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide customer service to guests, including answering questions and providing assistance.
• Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Relieve other team members for breaks.
• Review and adhere to required operating and safety manuals, complete required training.
