Qualifications

  • Experience as a lead or supervisor is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Docs is helpful.
  • Preferred: TRUE Advisor (GBCI) certificate and TRUE Zero Waste project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily waste audits and prepare waste for donation or internal use.
  • Coordinate donation pick-ups with partner organizations.
  • Maintain Green Stations and ensure supplies for proper waste diversion.
  • Monitor compliance and reinforce correct waste-handling behaviors.
  • Oversee waste sorting, recycling, composting, and disposal to support zero-waste goals.
  • Track, analyze, and report waste data for continuous improvement.
  • Support sustainability audits and maintain documentation for certifications.
  • Organize sustainability training sessions for employees and chef teams.
