Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in planning, developing, and/or implementing waste reduction and recycling programs, policies, or initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate planning specialization or related field.
• A valid Class “C” driver’s license when required for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Identify and plan strategies to reduce waste and increase recycling.
• Coordinate implementation of new waste reduction programs and policies.
• Review data on waste generation and recycling to target improvements.
• Collaborate with DEP and County partners to align programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate planning specialization or related field
