Job summary

Georgetown University seeks a highly organized Coordinator, Zero Waste and Special Projects to advance Hilltop and Capitol Campuses’ waste reduction efforts. You will gather data, track progress against targets, and support cross‑functional teams across Sustainability, Planning, and Facilities.

Reporting to the Manager, Administration and Analysis, you’ll help design and implement programs, engage stakeholders, and prepare internal/external reports for a broad range of partners and government

Qualifications

The Coordinator must hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field.
Minimum two years of progressive project implementation or sustainability experience.
Excellent written and oral communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Advance Georgetown's Zero Waste initiatives at Hilltop and Capitol Campuses.
Support sustainability strategic plan through special projects and data reporting.
Coordinate cross-functional teams with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
Collect, analyze, and report data for internal and external stakeholders.
