Full‑time position within Professional Services.

Location

Remote (Virtual) – US (Primary). Saint Louis, MO 63101 US. Hybrid location at Scott Airforce Base, IL for occasional on‑site work.

Scope of Work

U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) manages global patient movement for the Department of War (DoW). TRAC2ES is a critical system supporting global patient movement operations, handling sensitive data such as PII and PHI and operating in both classified and unclassified environments. The solution must address scalability, performance, cybersecurity, interoperability, operational efficiency and compliance with DoW standards, including Zero Trust (ZT) principles. The project also considers a mobile application transition for improved accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust architectures within Intelligence Community environments.
• Collaborate with senior leaders (CISO, CIO, etc.) to integrate cybersecurity solutions.
• Manage teams to execute roadmap capabilities and solutions.
• Define strict, rule‑based policies granting session‑based access on a per‑session need‑to‑know basis.
• Verify device compliance (e.g., up‑to‑date antivirus, OS patching) prior to connection.
• Hide applications, IP addresses, and infrastructure from public view and unauthorized discovery.
• Monitor ongoing session context and revoke privileges in near real‑time if conditions change.

Requirements & Experience

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Leadership experience in Zero Trust strategies for federal and IC organizations.
• 7+ years IT operations or Cybersecurity experience within the IC.
• Experience designing Zero Trust solutions aligned with NIST 800‑207 and supporting advanced IC architectures involving conditional access, micro‑segmentation, and visibility analytics.
• Experience with AI, NGFW, and machine learning security applications.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud cybersecurity expertise.
• Certified CISSP, CISM, or CEH required.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum software delivery methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving, design, written, oral, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
