Booz Allen is seeking an Illumio Zero Trust Platform Engineer to lead design, deployment, and optimization of Illumio Core and Edge across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years of Linux/Windows systems, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 1+ years of experience with REST APIs, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Secret clearance.
• Associate’s degree and 5+ years supporting IT projects and activities.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years supporting IT projects and activities.
• Master’s degree and 1+ years supporting IT projects and activities.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification within 45 days of start date.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01‑M CSP/CISSP-type certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of Illumio Core and Edge across environments.
• Support architecture and implementation of Zero Trust segmentation policies and labeling frameworks.
• Develop Illumio workflows, runbooks, dashboards, and segmentation models for critical apps.
• Integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, and automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with security architects to align policy models with NIST 800-207.
