Job summary

GuidePoint Security seeks an Illumio Zero Trust Segmentation Platform Engineer to architect and implement segmentation policies across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will map dependencies, label frameworks, enforce boundaries, and integrate Illumio Core/Edge with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, and automation pipelines.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Experience with Linux/Windows systems, virtualization, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of Illumio Core and Edge.
• Architect and implement Zero Trust Segmentation policies and labeling frameworks.
• Develop Illumio workflows, runbooks, dashboards, and segmentation models.
• Integrate Illumio with SIEM/SOAR, CMDB, vulnerability scanners, and automation pipelines.
• Conduct traffic flow analysis and build policy recommendations to reduce attack surface.
• Troubleshoot VEN installation issues and policy conflicts across distributed infrastructure.
• Partner with application owners to onboard workloads and support change management.
• Lifecycle management: upgrades, health checks, and policy governance.
• Collaborate with security architects to align Illumio policy with Zero Trust and NIST 800-207.
• Contribute to architectural standards and enterprise security playbooks.
• Embrace AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
