Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager of Zero Trust Operations to lead incident response and drive the maturity of our Zero Trust services. You will own complex degradations, coordinate multi-team responses, and guide high-stakes decisions across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint domains.

The role emphasizes technical ownership, design and validation of risky changes, and mentoring peers to raise the operational bar while ensuring security and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Security certifications (Security+, CASP+, GSEC, SSCP, CDPSE, GIAC/SANS) or equivalent.
• Zero Trust vendor certifications and network certifications desired.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and 3+ years in direct operational support with Zero Trust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the response to complex Zero Trust incidents across teams.
• Investigate and resolve highly complex connectivity, access, and performance issues across Zero Trust platforms.
• Act as a technical incident leader and escalation authority for high-severity incidents.
