Job summary

Navitas Business Consulting is seeking a Zero Trust Data Pillar SME to lead the data pillar end-to-end for USCIS, aligning with CISA ZTMM v2.0, NIST SP 800-207, and RMF/ATO artifacts. You will drive maturity across 8 data functions, governance for Databricks lakehouse, and DLP modernization with Zscaler, SecOps collaboration, and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years in IT or cybersecurity, including 5+ years focused on data security, data governance or DLP.
• Hands-on experience designing and tuning an enterprise DLP platform (Zscaler preferred; Symantec/Broadcom, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview, Netskope or Palo Alto acceptable).
• Working knowledge of Databricks (Unity Catalog, access controls, tagging, audit) or an equivalent lakehouse / data catalog platform.
• Working knowledge of the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model, NIST SP 800-207 and NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5.

Responsibilities

• Own the data pillar end to end from definition to enforcement.
• Assess and harden Databricks lakehouse governance and access controls.
• Design and tune Zscaler data protection policy across channels (web, endpoint, email, SaaS).
• Map data controls to NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and RMF/ATO artifacts.
• Write client-ready assessments and brief government leadership.
