Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to lead RMF efforts on a large Enterprise Zero Trust DoD program. You will develop long-term cybersecurity strategies and implement controls across a distributed system to meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires DoD RMF Controls expertise, a current Secret clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with government customers, and stay current on threats

Qualifications

• 5-10 years IT security experience recommended.
• Current Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong RMF knowledge and ATO processes.
• Experience with risk management and audits.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term cybersecurity strategies and plans.
• Lead RMF efforts to obtain an ATO.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks.
• Create security policies and guidelines.
• Support incident response and security testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
• Provide guidance to junior security professionals.
