Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a proactive team supporting defense and security missions.

The role requires an active DoD Top-Secret clearance and involves integrating cybersecurity into system architecture, implementing RMF-based controls, and producing essential RMF artifacts. You will collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and government stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient solutions while balancing security,

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top-Secret clearance required.
• Strong RMF/NIST-based security control implementation experience.
• Experience with DoD/information systems and DIACAP knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to produce RMF artifacts and high-quality documentation.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity guidance and secure systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cybersecurity requirements into system architecture and lifecycle.
• Engineer and validate security controls per DoD guidance and RMF.
• Perform vulnerability and risk analyses across architectures.
• Develop System Security Plans, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
• Collaborate with engineers, cloud, and mission partners to maintain secure baselines.
• Support accreditation activities and continuous monitoring.
