Job summary

Big-D Construction's Big-D Industrial unit seeks a Safety Professional to join our Miami, AZ project team. You will provide safety and risk technical expertise to site personnel, vendors, and subcontractors on a single jobsite, helping build a zero-harm culture and compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or 1–3 years in construction safety, OSHA 30, CSP/ASP or CHST desirable, and strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities to implement company safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-3 years of construction safety experience.
• Proven OSHA/MSHA rating history and EMR trainings are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a zero-harm culture on the jobsite with the safety team and leadership.
• Monitor inspections and administrative tasks on site.
• Document site conditions through reports and photos for safety.
• Develop improvement plans with project leadership and document them.
• Conduct safety training meetings for project-specific concerns.
