Job summary

The Manager, Automation Engineering - Zero Emission Deployment at Walmart leads the deployment, implementation, and integration of zero emission vehicle systems across Walmart's supply chain network. This role coordinates vehicle readiness, site infrastructure, and launch activities with cross-functional teams.

You will translate deployment learnings into scalable standards, manage vendor execution, and drive data-driven improvements using advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2 years’ experience or 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical and operational data and drive data-based decisions.
• Experience leading complex deployments and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with vendors through execution and launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of electric vehicles and zero-emission technologies across Walmart’s supply chain.
• Develop site deployment plans, readiness criteria, schedules, and launch strategies.
• Coordinate vehicle, infrastructure, operational, maintenance, safety, and training requirements.
• Lead cross-functional execution with Operations, Fleet Services, Energy, and external partners.
• Analyze data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Manage vendors through installation, commissioning, and stabilization.
• Track KPIs, risks, and milestones; translate learnings into scalable standards.
