Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to program, validate, and optimize ZEISS CALYPSO inspection routines on the Contura G2 CMM in a 1st shift, onsite setting in Wilmington, MA. The role focuses on first article, in-process, and final inspections with GD&T-driven strategies.

You will document results, ensure repeatability, and collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to address nonconformances, supporting regulated aerospace manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience programming and operating ZEISS CALYPSO for CMM inspection programs.
• Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges).
• Experience with Zeiss Contura G2 or similar CMM preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, specs and build documents.

Responsibilities

• Program, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize ZEISS CALYPSO inspection routines.
• Operate the CMM for first article, in-process, final inspections.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and GD&T to determine inspection requirements.
• Create and maintain clear CMM program documentation and records.
• Verify results and repeatability before production release.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances in quality systems.
• Perform supplemental inspections using calibrated tools.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and Production to resolve issues.
