Job summary

Hudson Restaurant Group seeks a General Manager to lead one of our Zaxby’s locations in Suffolk, VA. You’ll drive daily restaurant operations, coach and retain a high-performing team, set high standards for food quality, service and safety, and manage schedules, costs and performance to achieve growth and profitability.

You will report to above-store leadership and benefit from structured onboarding, leadership development, and opportunities for advancement within a growing restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Restaurant-management experience required
• General Manager or comparable leadership experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Scheduling, inventory, labor and cost management experience
• Ability to review performance and develop improvement plans
• Willingness to lead hands-on in fast-paced restaurant environment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Commitment to high operating standards and completing training

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations

The General Manager is responsible for the restaurant’s people, culture, guest experience, operations and financial performance.

• Communicate restaurant performance, staffing and operational needs to above‑store leadership
• Take ownership of the restaurant’s people, culture and results

Leadership and Development
