Job summary

Hudson Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager to lead a Zaxby’s restaurant, overseeing people, culture, guest experience, operations and financial results. This hands-on role requires building a strong team, maintaining high standards and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

The General Manager will lead daily operations, recruit and develop top talent, manage labor and costs, and drive sales while ensuring compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Restaurant-management experience required.
• General Manager or comparable restaurant-leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, inventory, labor and cost management.
• Ability to review restaurant performance and develop improvement plans.
• Willingness to lead hands-on in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to high operating standards.
• Ability to complete all required Zaxby’s training.

• Ensure cash, deposits and other financial controls are handled accurately.
• Maintain compliance with Zaxby’s brand standards and company policies.
• Ensure all food-safety, workplace-safety and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Address guest and team-member concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the restaurant’s equipment, facility and overall appearance.
• Communicate restaurant performance, staffing and operational needs to above-store leadership.
• Take ownership of the restaurant’s people, culture and results.
