Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Lead to manage and motivate a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring efficient dock operations and safeguarding inventory. The role includes scheduling work, training staff, and maintaining process records to drive accountability.

You will work closely with the warehouse team to perform duties across loading, unloading, and brief repairs, while upholding security and safety standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Travel Required: None.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work for the team and area; create documents for picking, moving and shipping; maintain task records for downtime and accountability.
• Work alongside warehouse staff, demonstrate proper techniques, and cover other warehouse areas when needed.
• Unloading, loading, deluxing, and minor furniture repair as required.
• Oversee building security and RDC procedures when needed; ensure productivity via training of new staff.
