La-Z-Boy Incorporated seeks a Warehouse Lead to mentor and guide a team of Warehouse Associates at the Z-Dock. You will schedule work, prepare pick/move/shipping documents, and safeguard inventory while ensuring safety protocols and efficiency are followed.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, training of staff, and collaboration across dock operations to support deliveries, receiving, and repairs as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 0–2 years related experience.
• Forklift Operator Certification is preferred.
• Leadership experience is a strong plus and RMS familiarity is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Schedule work within the assigned team and area.
• Create work documents for picking, moving, and shipping merchandise.
• Maintain records and assignment lists to minimize downtime and for accountability.
• Reconcile completed work for administrative completeness and process final documents.
• Monitor time records to generate performance metrics and improve efficiency.
• Maintain dock presence inspecting work in progress and ensure security.
• Lead by example, train new staff, and provide additional coaching as needed.
• Oversee related warehouse areas and security access as required.
