Job summary

Dragonfruit is seeking a Post-Production Manager to own the creative quality of premium long-form YouTube videos for top creators and brands. You will review rough, revised, and final cuts, delivering clear, actionable feedback that raises the creative bar and ensures retention, branding, and viewer experience.

You'll work with Creative Directors, editors, and leadership to ensure every video is on-brand, YouTube-native, and ready for client review or upload, beyond simple scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing videos for creators, brands, or channels.
• Ability to cite channels or projects you improved.
• Understanding retention, pacing, storytelling and branding.
• Ability to diagnose exactly what is not working in an edit.
• Clear, actionable feedback to editors.
• Strong editorial taste and creative judgment.
• Knowledge of post-production workflows and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under fast deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review all video versions to ensure high creative standards.
• Assess hook strength, pacing, retention, story clarity, branding, viewer experience, and polish.
• Review videos through a YouTube performance lens.
• Identify slow, unclear, repetitive, off-brand sections.
• Give clear, timestamped, actionable creative feedback to editors.
• Explain what needs to change, why it matters, and how the editor should improve it.
• Review B-roll, archival footage, graphics, motion design, music, sound design, text, and visuals.
• Make sure every creative element supports the story and viewer experience.
• Protect the creator’s voice, brand identity, and audience expectations.
• Help define and raise the creative quality bar across the post-production team.
• Make sure videos feel premium, YouTube-native, and built for retention.
• Work closely with Creative Directors, editors, producers, and leadership.
