Job summary

The Scalable Company is seeking a YouTube Long-Form Editor to own the end-to-end edit pipeline across two high-visibility channels. You’ll transform raw footage into publish-ready long-form videos, refining workflows, templates, and asset libraries with the Senior Content Strategist as you build from the ground up.

In this strategic, hands-on role you’ll shape pacing, B-roll, and audio, while enforcing an on-time publish cadence, retention benchmarks, and a durable in-house workflow that scales

Qualifications

• 3+ years editing long-form YouTube content.
• Experience building systems from scratch.
• Strong motion graphics and animation proficiency.
• Proficiency in Davinci Resolve or Premiere Pro.
• Strong audio engineering instincts.
• Demonstrated storytelling instinct.
• Frame.io proficiency.
• Self-managing on deadlines.
• AI fluency.
• Workstation capable of editing 4K ProRes.
• Strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos across two channels.
• Design and refine in-house edit workflow.
• Develop channel-specific edit signatures.
• Manage project files, assets, version control.
• Make creative decisions on cuts and pacing.
• Iterate quickly on revision feedback.
• Analyze retention and adapt edits.
