Job summary

The Now Agency Inc. is seeking an experienced YouTube strategist to own channel operations end-to-end, including publishing, metadata, and optimization of channel architecture.

You will monitor health, analyze performance, and translate insights into actionable plans across multiple client channels. You will collaborate with strategy, creative, and production teams to develop roadmaps, test formats, and deliver clear client reports, driving growth and engagement in a fast-moving agency

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience managing YouTube, digital video, or related field.
• Hands-on experience publishing and optimizing YouTube channels for brands, publishers, agencies, creators, or media companies.
• Deep fluency in YouTube Studio and YouTube Analytics, with understanding of discovery and retention drivers.
• Strong grasp of YouTube best practices: titles, thumbnails, hooks, pacing, structure, and formats.
• Experience building channel strategies, roadmaps, and programming calendars.

Responsibilities

• Own YouTube channel operations end-to-end: publishing, scheduling, metadata, thumbnails, playlists, captions, end screens, and channel settings.
• Optimize channel architecture for easy discovery and viewing continuity across content.
• Monitor channel health: resolve issues, copyright flags, broken links, and metadata problems.
• Analyze impressions, CTR, watch time, and audience retention; build actionable insights.
• Turn analytics into optimization; create monthly client reports with next steps.
• Run structured testing of titles, thumbnails, hooks, formats, and lengths.
• Support strategy, creative, and production teams with YouTube feedback and briefs.
• Maintain content calendars, publishing schedules, and repeatable workflows.
