Program

YouthBuild Coord- Brattleboro Housing Partnerships/VHCB

Help develop systems, partnerships, and program infrastructure for the YouthBuild Initiative, including outreach strategies, curricula, and data tracking processes that don't currently exist at scale. By establishing consistent youth engagement, strengthening coordination with SASH and LEAP, and expanding partnerships with education and workforce organizations, the member will increase BHP's ability to deliver integrated, multi-generational services. Brattleboro Housing Partnerships (BHP) ensures access to quality, affordable housing in thriving communities while advancing long-term stability and opportunity for lower-income households. Through integrated housing, supportive services, and community-based partnerships, BHP strengthens lives by connecting residents to education, health resources, and pathways to employment. Grounded in service-driven leadership and equity, BHP builds resilient communities where individuals and families can achieve stability, growth, and self-sufficiency. This position is part of the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board AmeriCorps (VHCB AmeriCorps). The VHCB AmeriCorps program supports the innovative dual-goal approach to creating stable affordable housing opportunities for Vermont residents while preserving the natural and working landscape. This position is Full Time: Requires 1720 hours for an average of 40 hours per week for 47 weeks. Member will receive a living allowance of $31,000(pre-tax) for the service term. Member will receive an education award of $7,395 (pre-tax) upon successful completion of service. Other benefits include health insurance, federal school loan forbearance, & various training & networking opportunities.
