Job summary

Community Youth Center of San Francisco seeks a Program Coordinator for the YAWL Young Adult Job Centers to lead program development, supervise staff, and advance youth workforce services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience working with diverse youth backgrounds, preferably within youth workforce development programs.
• Experience coordinating and developing programs.
• Ability to work with ethnically diverse groups of low-income youth and English learners.
• At least 1 year supervising a team of three or more staff.
• Experience working with SF's diverse communities and neighborhoods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with commonly used tech tools.
• Experience facilitating workshops for youth and young adults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Young Adult Work Link program and service delivery.
• Develop policy and procedure recommendations to strengthen the program model.
• Ensure alignment with Youth Program Quality Standards and Work Plan deliverables.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and deliverables promptly.
• Lead citywide outreach, recruit partnerships, and build referral networks.
• Conduct participant assessments and provide case management and wraparound services.
• Develop vocational goals and career plans using assessments and guidance.
• Develop and facilitate job readiness workshops (resume, interviews, job search).
• Coordinate GED attainment, tutoring, and postsecondary education services.
• Provide 1:1 career guidance and job placement support; conduct follow-ups for retention.
• Connect participants to CYC resources and partner services for barrier removal.
• Supervise, coach, and train Program Specialists in training content and outreach.
• Collaborate with workforce team on program planning and outcomes.
• Coordinate career exploration events and mentoring opportunities.
• Cultivate employer relationships to develop youth jobs.
• Support agency-wide events and other duties as assigned.
