Job summary

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is hiring a Program Coordinator for the YAWL Work Based Learning program. This role oversees the Work Based Learning portfolio, supervises staff, and coordinates trainings to deliver youth workforce services.

You will lead outreach, build partnerships with SF businesses, and guide participants through job readiness, internships, and education planning. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience with diverse youth backgrounds and workforce programs.
• Experience supervising a team of three or more staff.
• Ability to work with ethnically diverse groups and English learners.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with common software.
• Experience facilitating youth workshops and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of the Work Based Learning portfolio.
• Supervise staff, coordinate trainings, and ensure program quality.
• Develop partnerships and recruit community partners for internships.
• Conduct participant assessments and provide case management.
• Coordinate GED attainment and college/career exploration services.
• Lead outreach to priority populations and manage referrals.
• Plan events, tours, and mentoring activities for participants.
• Ensure documentation and reports meet funder requirements.
