Job summary

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a Program Coordinator for the YAWL Workforce Development program to oversee work-based learning portfolios, supervise staff, and ensure quality service delivery to youth ages 16-24.

You will develop workshops, coordinate internships with local employers, provide case management and career guidance, and partner with community organizations to remove barriers to education and employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Experience working with diverse youth backgrounds.
• Experience in program coordination, internship coordination, and development.
• Ability to work with ethnically diverse groups of low-income youth and English learners.
• At least 1 year supervising a team of three or more staff.
• Experience working with San Francisco's diverse communities and neighborhoods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom and other tech platforms.
• Experience facilitating workshops for youth and young adults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, and improvement of the Work Based Learning program and service model.
• Develop policy and procedure recommendations to strengthen the program model.
• Ensure program aligns with quality standards and deliverables.
• Complete required documentation and reports on time.
• Lead citywide outreach and recruitment, building a strong referral network.
• Develop and facilitate job readiness workshops (resume, interviewing, etc.).
• Coordinate internships with local SF businesses and support worksites and participants.
• Provide intensive case management and wraparound services to address barriers.
• Set vocational goals and career plans using assessments.
• Coordinate GED attainment, tutoring, and postsecondary education services.
• Provide 1:1 career guidance and job search support.
• Connect participants to resources to ensure success.
• Supervise and train staff in training content and outreach.
• Collaborate with workforce team for program planning and outcomes.
• Plan partnerships, events, and mentoring activities.
• Support agency-wide events and other duties.
