Job summary

City of Aurora seeks a Youth Violence Program Administrator to oversee a youth violence prevention program serving at-risk youths and their families. You will coordinate with community partners, law enforcement, and schools to ensure integrated services and program success.

The role reports to the Intervention Programs Division Manager and includes grant management, budget oversight, and reporting requirements to support community safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Two years of experience in youth violence prevention/intervention.
• Two years of experience in program development, implementation, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, document, and manage strategies, goals, and performance measures for the youth violence prevention program.
• Oversee daily operations of the program and coordinate with community partners.
• Manage referrals and collaborate with city departments and schools to coordinate juvenile services.
