The City of Aurora seeks a Youth Violence Program Administrator to lead the youth violence prevention program under the Intervention Programs Division Manager. You will coordinate with community-based organizations, government agencies, and schools to serve at-risk youth and their families, develop strategies, and oversee program operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, or a directly related field.
• Two years of experience in youth violence prevention and/or intervention.
• Two years of experience in case management/resource navigation.
• Two years of experience in the development, implementation, and administration of programs.

Aufgaben

• Plan, develop, implement, document, and manage strategies, goals, policies, procedures, and performance measures for the youth violence prevention program.
• Track and report progress on goals and performance measures and make recommendations for changes or improvements to achieve desired outcomes.
• Oversee daily operations of the youth violence prevention program.
• Manage the referral process for internal and external stakeholders to make referrals to the Youth Violence Prevention Program.
• Collaborate with city departments, community mental health agencies, community-based organizations, and school districts to ensure coordination among juvenile system agencies and the youth violence prevention program regarding at-risk juveniles.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, school administrators, and partnering agencies.
• Attend various meetings with each group.
• Oversee the financial and accounting operations of the Youth Violence Prevention Program, including grant management and reporting.
• Serve as the Support & Outreach Working Group Lead for Aurora SAVE and coordinate related activities.
• Provide weekly reports for the Aurora SAVE team on actions and progress.
