The Village for Families and Children in New Britain, CT is seeking an entry-level Juvenile Transportation/Case Aide. You will provide transportation to clients per schedule, often with multiple youths, and report concerns to supervisors.

The role emphasizes timely pickups, safety, and respectful interaction with families. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 3 years driving experience with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 3 years driving experience minimum.
• No DWI or DUI convictions.
• Experience transporting children or youth preferred.
• Evenings and some weekends required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation to clients from program as per schedule.
• Engages clients while transporting.
• Attends trainings and meetings, as needed, to meet the requirements of the position.
• Maintains mileage log and all other required documentation.
• Reports vehicle problems to Property Management.
• Assists in weekly vehicle inspection and completion of forms.
• Reports any difficulties with clients while transporting to supervisor.
• Observes traffic laws, safety regulations and procedures.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Three years driving experience
