Job summary

Texas Family Care Network is seeking a Youth Engagement Specialist to serve as the Preparation for Adult Living Coordinator. You will coordinate between program staff and contractors, identify resources for PAL youth, and provide follow-up services to emancipated youth.

You will train staff, caregivers and community groups, monitor contract delivery, document case records, and adapt services to meet youths' transition to independent living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field or equivalent experience
• Two years of relevant work experience in child welfare or related area
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record; reliable transportation
• Familiarity with state child welfare rules and court systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor contract service delivery and coordinate with contract management staff.
• Review data warehouse reports monthly.
• Provide staff and community education on Preparation for Adult Living.
• Develop resources and follow up with emancipated youth.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and ensure data accuracy in systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field

Associate's degree + 2 years relevant work experience

60 accredited college credit hours + 2 years relevant work experience
