Job summary

Texans Together is seeking a PAL Supervisor to lead the Preparation for Adult Living program, supervise PAL staff, and oversee counseling, life-skills training, and transition planning for youth and young adults.

The role focuses on referrals, documentation, program performance, and collaboration with youth, caregivers, staff, providers, contractors, and community partners to ensure timely, youth-centered services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience considered in lieu of education
• Minimum five (5) years in child welfare incl. PAL/LPS/FC/Conservatorship
• At least three (3) years supervisory or management experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises PAL staff and develops staff using a hope-centered approach
• Manages PAL program operations: referrals, assignments, caseloads, service delivery
• Ensures youth receive life-skills training, counseling, guidance, and support for adulthood
• Coordinates youth conferences, events, and community partnerships
• Monitors services, contracts, performance, and documentation for quality and compliance
• Develops training, resources, tools, and guidance for staff and partners
