Job summary

You will guide residents in daily living, promote community inclusion, and mentor staff while maintaining ratios and overseeing food safety. Responsibilities include documenting progress, ensuring program compliance with DC CFSA guidelines, and coordinating safety drills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human services delivery, preferably with adolescents and young adults.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee residential operations and maintain specialized staffing ratios.
• Prior experience supervising direct support professionals and residential staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residential staff and maintain mandated resident-to-counselor ratios.
• Work directly with residents to support daily activities, personal development and independent living skills.
• Ensure program operations adhere to DC CFSA guidelines and ILP policies; maintain documentation.
• Lead safety and emergency drills and supervise food safety oversight.
