Job summary

Arbour Counseling Services, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, seeks a Therapeutic Mentor to work with youth under 21 on mental health and behavior goals within a clinical team. The role emphasizes structured one-on-one support, skills coaching, and engaging community activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or related field; 1+ year working with youth and families.
• Massachusetts driver’s license required.
• Daily access to a registered and insured vehicle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan and manage own schedule and client services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet individually with youth in the community for skill building.
• Coordinate with youth’s therapist and guardian to support treatment goals.
• Help youth develop coping, life, social, behavior and emotion management skills.
• Implement interventions from the therapist plan addressing mental health and behavioral needs.
• Coordinate care with collateral contacts.
