Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. seeks Therapeutic Mentors to work with youth ages 5-17 in one-on-one and group settings. You’ll coordinate with each client’s treatment team and support treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or health-related field, or 30 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree.
• One year of supervised mental health experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic activities that teach healthy social interactions and coping skills.
• Coach and support linkages to community resources to help goals.
• Transport clients to clinics and events as needed.
• Maintain contact with clients, families, and treatment team weekly.
• Collaborate with GMY Directors, Site Directors, and prescribers for coordinated care.
• Assess needs and develop goals; implement rehab activities per plan.
• Attend weekly supervision and required trainings; respond to communications within 24 hours.
