Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Youth Support Specialist- (DSP) - Team Lead near Columbus, Ohio. The role includes direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings and leadership of DSP staff. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

At ViaQuest ICFs, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required!

Requirements for this position include:

• Must be at least 18 years old

  • Motor Vehicle Record must meet specific requirements including (but not limited to):
    • No OVI/DUI's, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit
    • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points
• Reliable vehicle with active insurance
• Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and assist individuals as needed
