Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and home settings. This part-time position offers schedules across all shifts, with training and growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates have experience with youth, are comfortable with potential high behaviors, and possess a reliable vehicle plus a valid OH driver’s license and insurance. Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid OH driver’s license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest criteria.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in facilities and home settings.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily activities.
• Perform household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes.
