Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking an On-Call Youth Advocate in Walla Walla, WA. This role provides a safe environment for youths at the LOFT during overnight and daytime hours, overseeing household management and engaging youth in healthy behaviors.

The position requires shift and weekend work, and offers opportunities to work with youth affected by homelessness and trauma, with training in Positive Youth Development and related practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of social services education may substitute.
• Experience working with youth is preferred; ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality, including HIPAA considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe environment supervision for youth at LOFT during overnight and day hours.
• Assist with household management, cleanliness, and meal prep as needed.
• Build positive relationships with youth and support engagement in healthy behaviors.
• Follow LOFT rules, document incidents, and monitor medication documentation as required.
• Attend to emergencies, coordinate transportation, and support program activities.
