Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in public health education, community health education, health science, or related area.
• Direct or related experience in substance use prevention efforts.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver's license and access to transportation.
• Thorough working knowledge of principles and practices of public health education.
• C.H.E.S or C.P.S certification strongly desired at time of hire, otherwise willing to obtain certification at employee's expense.

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs and strategies for youth substance use prevention.
• Lead health awareness initiatives, group behavior change, and risk reduction services for diverse individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with the internal substance use prevention team within the Health Education and Promotion Section.
• Coordinate programming with community partners and administer evidence-based prevention programs in schools for students in grades 3–12.
