Job summary

YMCA in Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Sports Crew to support sports programs under supervision of the Sports Director. You will assist with facility setup, equipment management, participant engagement, and on-site supervision during games to ensure safe, positive experiences for participants, families, and staff.

The role emphasizes youth development values, high-quality customer service, and adherence to YMCA policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with youth, families, and staff.
• Experience participating in, assisting with, or supporting organized sports or physical activity programs.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Certification (will provide upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and reset gyms, fields, and courts for scheduled sports programs and events.
• Maintain cleanliness of program areas during and after activities, including light custodial tasks.
• Support positive interactions with youth, coaches, officials, and spectators; address concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures regarding abuse prevention.
