Job summary

YMCA in Tulsa, OK is seeking a part-time Sports Crew to support youth sports programs through facility setup, equipment management, and on-site supervision during games. You will help create a welcoming, organized experience for participants and families while upholding YMCA values and safety standards.

Prior involvement in youth sports is preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification is required upon hire. Compensation ranges from $10.00 to $11.00 per hour for this non-exempt, hourly role, with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with youth, families, and staff.
• Experience participating in, assisting with, or supporting organized sports or physical activity programs.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Certification (will provide upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and reset gyms, fields, and courts for scheduled sports programs and events.
• Maintain cleanliness of program areas during and after activities, including light custodial tasks such as trash removal and floor care as needed.
• Support positive interactions with youth, coaches, officials, and spectators; address concerns professionally and elevate issues when appropriate.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures regarding the prevention of abuse.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or misconduct immediately to the appropriate supervisory staff.
• Attend mandatory training on abuse prevention, including recognizing signs of abuse, and reporting requirements.
