Job summary

Talentify, in conjunction with the YMCA, invites applications for a part-time Program Assistant. Under supervision of the Program/Sports Director, you will supervise athletic facilities during program time, help officiate youth sports, and support coaches and event activities.

Qualifications include being at least 16, general sports knowledge, and CPR/First Aid certification, with willingness to assist clinics, camps, and special YMCA events.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age.
• General knowledge in sports.
• Understanding of the YMCA’s principles of Youth Development.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Field or Gym during league practice.
• Setup and cleanup before and after practice/games.
• Officiate games for younger age groups without certified officials.
• Assist in teaching clinics and camps.
• Help at special events implemented by the YMCA.

Program Assistant- Part Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Part Time
Under Supervision of the Program/Sports Director and consistent with the mission of the YMCA, the Program Assistant is responsible for supervision of athletic facilities in and out of the YMCA during program time. Other responsibilities include scorekeeping and officiating of Youth Sports, assisting volunteer coaches, and setup/cleanup of activities.

• Supervision of Field or Gym during league practice
• Responsible for setup and cleanup before and after practice/games
• Officiate games in younger age groups that do not have certified officials
• Assist in the teaching of clinics and camps
• Help out at special events implemented by the YMCA
