Obsolete Site seeks a Sports and Fitness Director to lead the CYS program at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, overseeing operations, volunteers, and partnerships. You will ensure safety, coordinate staff, and report on program status to command.

The role requires experience in youth sports leadership, collaboration with schools, and adherence to risk-management standards, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year directing a child/youth or sports program with multiple sports.
• Experience applying national youth-sports requirements to staff/coaches.
• Ability to build partnerships with schools and community groups.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operation and coordination of a comprehensive CYS Sports and Fitness program.
• Recruit, train, certify, and manage coaches and officials for various sports.
• Ensure staff and volunteers follow risk management procedures and safety policies.
• Develop partnerships with local schools and community organizations for program benefits.
• Prepare reports, surveys, and briefings for command on CYS sports and fitness matters.
