The Fredericksburg Field House is currently accepting applications for part-time Youth Sports Coach's for our Summer & Seasonal Camp programs. We are looking for people who are hardworking, professional, highly motivated, and have great energy when it comes to supervising a group of campers.
The Youth Sports Coach - Soccer is responsible for teaching and supervising youth development classes of up to 15 students per class. The Youth Sports Coach - Soccer reports directly to the Youth Development Director and Youth Program Director.
The coach is the primary point-of-contact for students and parents and is expected to deliver excellent customer service. Not only will the coach spend time with new students and parents to orient them to the program, but also greet and converse with all participants before and/or after each class. In addition to being able to answer questions related to the youth sports program, the coach is expected to have a detailed knowledge of the facility and other programs which may be applicable.
Education and/or Experience: No formal or informal education is required. Experience working with groups of children is highly desirable.
Language Skills: Ability to communicate course objectives and performance feedback to students and parents in English. Other language skills are desirable.
Computer Skills: Use of a windows-based workstation to access web-based instructional materials is required.
