Job summary

The Athletic Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida will oversee the Sports Academy program at the Bradley Otis Clubhouse, coordinating activities, safety and learning outcomes for school-aged youth. This part-time role requires strong sports program experience, collaboration with staff and partners, and the ability to lead workouts, manage equipment, and promote healthy habits.

Working hours are 4-8 pm on weekdays during the school year and 11 am-5 pm in summer; performance-based

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 2-3 years of experience developing sports programs.
• Extensive knowledge of athletic activities, rules and league procedures.
• Excellent computer skills with data tracking and reporting abilities.
• Strong communication and administrative abilities.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with school-aged youth and teens.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, and implement a club sports calendar.
• Oversee and implement organized athletic activities (football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer).
• Market and advertise sports programs to parents and members.
• Manage equipment and safety, teach rules and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with staff, coaches, parents, and partners; plan field trips as needed.
