Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of NE Florida is seeking a Youth Development Professional for the Springfield Teen Center. This part-time role concentrates on helping members build physical fitness, social skills and healthy leisure habits through structured sports and recreation activities.

You will plan, supervise and deliver a flexible schedule, coordinating with staff to provide age-appropriate programs for youth aged 6 to 18 and fostering a safe, inclusive club environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues
• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs specific to Sport and Recreation
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement diverse sports and recreation programs for members.
• Recruit and retain youth for sports programs.
• Collaborate with staff to run year-round activities.
• Coach teams in Boys & Girls Clubs leagues.
• Ensure youth safety and positive environment.
• Prepare weekly activity reports.
• Evenings/weekends and driving Club van may be required.
