Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center is seeking staff to supervise and guide youths residing at the facility. You will participate in care decisions, admit residents, and ensure adherence to rules and routines with emphasis on safety and security.
The role involves instructional support on hygiene, meals, and school activities, plus documentation and basic medical care per procedures. A strong commitment to youth welfare is essential.

Sixty (60) semester hours of college;
Thirty (30) semester hours of college -AND- one (1) year experience in a facility or institution that cares for youth or in a correctional facility;
High school diploma or equivalent -AND- two (2) years' experience in a facility or institution that cares for youth or in a correctional facility.
Must successfully complete physical restraint training on an annual basis.
Must possess valid Michigan driver's license.
Performs a variety of tasks involved in the supervision, care and guidance of neglected and delinquent youths residing at the Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center; processes resident admissions and releases; works under the direction of a supervisor.
