Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center is seeking staff to supervise, care for, and guide neglected and delinquent youths residing at the facility. You will process admissions/releases and work under a supervisor to ensure a safe environment.
The role involves directing resident groups, enforcing rules, assisting with daily routines, and coordinating with teams on client care. Position requires annual restraint training and a valid Michigan driver’s license.

Sixty (60) semester hours of college;
Thirty (30) semester hours of college -AND- one (1) year experience in a facility or institution that cares for youth or in a correctional facility;
High school diploma or equivalent -AND- two (2) years' experience in a facility or institution that cares for youth or in a correctional facility.
Must successfully complete physical restraint training on an annual basis.
Must possess valid Michigan driver's license.
Performs a variety of tasks involved in the supervision, care and guidance of neglected and delinquent youths residing at the Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center; processes resident admissions and releases; works under the direction of a supervisor.
