Job summary

Lad Lake Inc in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Skills Development Specialist to work one-on-one with youth in the community. Evening and weekend availability is often required, with 1–3 hour sessions and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must show proof of degrees, certifications, and specific skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must have proof of auto liability insurance.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Model positive behavior and act as a role model.
• Provide quality activities aligned with client goals.
• Build trust through consistency and commitment.
• Encourage youth to reach their full potential.
• Maintain open communication with families and county staff.
• Attend Plan of Care meetings and supervision as required.
• Enter case notes for each meeting.
• Report any criminal activity or abuse to supervisor.
