Job summary

A nonprofit organization dedicated to youth support is seeking a Resident Advisor to provide holistic support to youth in shelter. The role involves engaging with and supervising residents, ensuring a safe environment, and assisting youth in daily tasks and skill development. Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED and preferably some experience working with at-risk youth. A strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and adaptability is required, along with an understanding of youth service plans.

Qualifications

• High School/GED with three or more years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience working with at-risk/homeless young females is preferred.
• Must have an 8-hour security license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engagement, supervision, and support to youth.
• Monitor program and client activities to ensure safety.
• Assist youth with preparation for the day and life skills.
