Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience with at-risk/homeless young females is strongly preferred.
• 8-hour security license required (will be provided if needed).
• Comfortable driving a 7-passenger van is a plus.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment required.
• Flexibility in work schedule required, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support youth residing at the shelter site.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the site.
• Assist youth in achieving shelter goals.
• Orient young females to site expectations and policies.
• Provide support to Case Managers as needed.
• Document required interactions and maintain records.
• Escort young females to services as necessary.
• Participate in recreational and holiday activities.
• Attend to emergencies and de-escalate crises.
