Job summary

Job Details Job Location: Chesterfield, MO 63005 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.50 Hourly Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services Rate of pay: $15.50 for shifts worked Monday - Thursday from 7:45am - 12:45pm. All other shifts are compensated at $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome all children and families.
• Provide outstanding care while following area-specific procedures which may include changing and disposing of diapers, leading age-appropriate activities, and relaying any pertinent information to families about their children.
• Engage in the planning, preparation, and execution of games, activities, and schedules for all age groups.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children, following area-specific procedures which may include disinfecting toys, putting equipment back in age-specific areas, alerting the manager about broken equipment, and logging cleaning supplies.
• Observe children’s behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures; apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
• Attend all required training and meetings.
• Comply with safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain good attendance and have reliable transportation.
• Follow all J rules, regulations, and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
